• What will the accommodations be like and where will they be located?
You will be sleeping dorm style in a home in Nachlaot.
Nachlaot is referred to as Lev haIr, the heart of the city. It is centrally located, and nestled between Jerusalem's outdoor open air market and the largest city park.


• What is the schedule like?

Four days a week we will learn. The morning consist of Isralight's famous Jewish Philosophy and Mysticism course, in the afternoon we will have a variety of classes including a complete overview of the Torah, classes addressing contemporary issues such as women in Judaism, Israel, and pluralism. Once a week we will take an outing somewhere in the land of Israel.


• Do I have free time to visit relatives ?

Yes. Fridays are free days. Also one Shabbat out of the three is free to travel anywhere you want. If you do not have relatives Shabbat placement will be available.


• Can my relatives and friends join in some of the classes and will it cost?
Special exceptions can be made. Contact the staff as soon as possible.


• What about Shabbat meals? can my relatives and friends join in?
Yes for a nominal fee.


• What about if I get sick? Is there medical coverage?

Medical coverage is mandatory. If you do not have international coverage, it can be purchased through Isralight for $1 a day.


• Will there be a fridge if I need to keep special foods cold?

yes


• What if I don't have the money to pay for the whole tuition?

Full and partial scholarships are available. Please contact Isralight for details
