For

Tochnit Tzama Nafshi

[High Impact Half-Day Seminars]

with Rabbi David Aaron and Rav Binny Freedman

Each seminar addressed core principles of Machshava (Jewish thought) offering guidance, meaning, and greater purpose

to the participants' Torah lives.

Hashem is Our Problem and Our Answer:

How our beliefs make or break our lives.

How much does our perception of Hashem really matter? Many of us aren't aware of our image of Hashem. For some of us, Hashem is like a critical Parent or an exacting heavenly Judge. For others, Hashem is like a caring Friend who is there to fix problems after we create them.

This seminar/workshop helps your students:

  •  Discover a mature and empowering understanding of Hashem

  •  Reclaim the power they've given away to negative images of Hashem or passive  images of themselves.

  •  Discover the wellspring of Kedusha from within.

These powerful principles of Emunah offer guidance, meaning and greater purpose to their Torah lives.

Soul 101

Making I Contact

The secret to success in everything in our lives – love, happiness, creativity, etc. – is to live as souls in service of Hashem. Then we are in the driver's seat of our life and can take charge -- become the master of our midot rather than a victim.

Most people think that to “serve Hashem” means being weak and servile. But the truth is that avodat Hashem does not diminish us rather empowers and intensifies us. In fact, service is the only key to a life filled with purpose, meaning, freedom, passion and happiness. Our daily prayer should be "Please, Hashem use me; make me into an instrument for Your will, wisdom and love.”

Soul 101 gives your students the keys to unlock new doors of self knowledge and the essential tools for achieving self-worth innate to a life of Kedusha.

Tefillah Training

Secrets to Powerful Prayers

Too many of us find tefillah uninspiring, lifeless and often a burdensome bore. We, therefore, speed through our davening and then chatter with those around us in Shul so as not to waste our valuable time on a mindless and meaningless routine. The solution is simple. We need to understand the meaning, personal relevance and power of tefillah. We must be able answer these basic questions:

  1. Why daven at all?

  2. How can tefillah bring resolve to our very real problems, inspire us daily to greater heights and give us spiritual fulfillment?

  3. What are we actually saying? What is the personal meaning and modern relevance of the age-old formal liturgy recorded in our Siddur?

This seminar probes the depths of Tefillah and reveals its transformational power.

It will

            * address the misconceptions associated with tefillah

            * offer techniques to enhance tefillah

            * clarify the soul-meaning of select texts from the Siddur

Students will acquire the essential tools for radically transforming their davening into a joyful, uplifting and soulful experience.
